Batsheva
Dance Company
Three
(Shalosh) - an evening-length work in three parts: "Bellus"
(beauty), "Humus" (earth), and "Secus"
(translates as both "this" and "not this”).
Ohad
Naharin brings his newest work, Three,
in this return engagement of Israel’s captivating
contemporary dance company. Naharin’s works are
fearless emotional and physical essays, often grappling
with the heart-rending and inspiring realities of modern
life. Three examines themes of beauty, nature, and existence
with Naharin’s signature blend of wit, serenity,
and anger. The work profoundly references his views
on life in his homeland.
"Challenging and distinctive, it is as loaded
as any dance piece that has preceded it.”
