Israeli and Judaica Arts & Crafts Fair
Israeli
merchandise will be in abundance at Israel in the Ballpark.
From
fashion to jewelry, food to footwear, handbags to accessories and much more, Israeli-made
products will be sold throughout the day.
The marketplace will also feature
familiar local Judaica and art vendors.
Children's Activities
Quality
educational activities will be available for children of all ages at Israel in
the Ballpark. Our focus is to educate young participants and their families, generating
a sense of pride in and understanding of what Israel stands for, as well as her
significance to us as a Jewish community. Through theater, storytelling, music,
and arts and crafts, we will offer many opportunities to engage in educational
activities related to Israel. Possibilities include discovering Israel's antiquities;
getting to know the map of Israel; making blue and white balloon animals; enjoying
jugglers, stilt walkers, bouncing balls and more.

Salute
to Israel Parade
A salute to Israel by Jewish students from around
the Bay!
Akin to the opening parade of athletes at the Olympic games, the
Salute to Israel Parade will be part of the opening ceremonies of Israel in
the Ballpark. It will feature students carrying banners representing their
Jewish day schools, congregational schools, and chavurut from around the Bay Area.
The students will march with other students and administrators from their respective
schools as a way to show their support of the state of Israel on its 56th anniversary!
If your Jewish day school or synagogue school would like to participate,

Pitch
In with the Jewish Community High School of the Bay
"Pitch In" at Israel in the Ballpark to help students in San Francisco and Israel schools get school supplies!
The Jewish
Community High School "Va'ad Squad" (Office of Community Outreach), will be organizing "Pitch In." Please bring unused or gently used school supplies to the ballpark entrance gates and make a vital contribution to schools in need. Examples of supplies in need are: binders, folders, pens, pencils, paper, dividers, backpacks, computer programs, radios, televisions, vcr's and dvd players...
The JCHS Va'ad Squad will also be hosting the Tzedakah Glove. Step up to the mound and pitch a donation into the giant catcher's mitt. It will be an act of "gloving" kindness. All monetary donations from "Pitch In" go to buying school supplies for students in Israel. Play Ball!
