Israel in Our Hearts Community Award
Announcing the recipients of the inaugural Israel in Our Hearts Community Award!
The Israel in our Hearts Community Award was created to recognize members of our community for their extraordinary commitment to Israel and their efforts in strengthening Israel/Bay Area relations.
The committee is proud to announce the winners of this award, chosen in acknowledgement of their unwavering dedication to Israel, and the impact their commitment has made on Israel and Bay Area Jewry. These endeavors have helped us all.
Thirteen recipients were selected and will be presented the award at this year's Israel in the Ballpark celebration on June 6. The number "13" represents the 13 attributes of mercy, equated with the doing of mitzvot. They were chosen through an open and public process resulting in the receipt of over 40 nominations from our diverse Bay Area Jewish community.
