Moran Barbivay-MaruaniA window to the world of the Moroccan Jewish family life gracefully unfolds before a backdrop of Jewish-Moroccan folklore songs as the play portrays the relationship between an immigrant woman and her granddaughter. Comic and touching, the show is based on stories, events and the two’s mutual experiences. The events emphasize the growing gap between the generations and  their different mentalities. Yet, the great love which exists between them bridges over the gaps.

The heart of the Mara performing arts company is a core of 6 professional actors, all graduates of the well-known professional schools for dramatic arts in Israel.
