Where Is It?
This year, Israel in the Gardens is being held at Yerba Buena Gardens
in San Francisco. The walk will start at Yerba Buena Gardens at
the Howard Street entrance, and we will end the walk at Yerba Buena
Gardens at the Mission Street entrance.
Start Preparing, the theme is “Green”
This year’s walk emphasizes global resource conservation efforts.
We hope participants of the walk will demonstrate their idea of
“Green Israel” and highlight the ways their synagogue,
school or community is “Green.”
We’re bringing conservation experts and educational
resources
The Israel Education Initiative and the Israel in the Gardens Committee
are working on bringing conservation experts from Israel who will
be on hand to help educate the public on “Green Israel”
We are also creating a range of educational resources for the walk
and for “Green”
activities to take place at the Israel in the Gardens celebration.
Download a participation form and email or fax it to 415.278.0646 by May 11th.
