The

DJ
SoCalled's Hip-Hop Purim Dance Party
Get ready for The Hub's
annual Purim extravaganza. This year
we present SoCalled's Hip-Hop Purim
Dance Party. SoCalled's grooves provide
the backbeat for a non-stop Yiddish
jam featuring the brightest young stars
of today's klezmer scene. Using excerpts
from old Jewish 78s, and other recordings
of long-gone masters, SoCalled creates
hip-hop that is a mix of ghetto groove
and shtetl chic. Featuring SoCalled
(aka Josh Dolgin), Stu Brotman, Rachel
Lemish, Jason Rosenblatt and Susan Watts.
Costumes encouraged!
